Vision: A community where children, youth and families achieve their potential.
Mission: Providing life-changing opportunities to children, youth and families being served by the Halton Children’s Aid Society.
The Children's Aid Foundation of Halton works in close partnership with the Halton Children's Aid Society to support children, youth and families in need.
The Halton Children's Aid Society is a government-funded agency that is responsible for investigating and responding to concerns of child abuse and neglect in the Halton region. The Children's Aid Foundation of Halton, on the other hand, is a community-based charity that is dedicated to providing additional resources and support to children, youth and families involved with the Halton Children's Aid Society. The two organizations work together to ensure that individuals receive the support and resources they need to address the underlying causes of their situations. They also work to raise awareness of child welfare issues in the community and advocate for changes that will benefit children, youth and families.
The Children's Aid Foundation of Halton provides funding for programs and services that are not fully covered by government sources, such as educational programs, homeless prevention, mentoring, tutoring, advocacy, basic household needs and emergency relief.
