Cleanup is underway for a tractor trailer filled with trash that caught fire while passing through Milton this morning.
OPP shared on X (formerly Twitter) just before noon about the interior of the truck that was smouldering as debris was dumped out. The vehicle was able to be pulled over, thus avoiding closure of the Hwy. 401 westbound lanes.
The inside of the trailer reached 100 degrees C, according to OPP.
There are no injuries reported.
