Feb. 15, 1933 – April 22, 2024
After 91 years a faithful child of God, Isabelle was called home to be in the presence of the Lord.
Isabelle passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024 surrounded by family at Bay Haven Care Community in Collingwood, Ontario.
Isabelle, the beloved wife of the late Mike and loving mother of John (Lee) and Mark (Kirsten). Dear sister of Doug (the late June) and Ronald. Wonderful Grandmother of Caitlin (the late Chris), Shannon (Nathan), Jason, Maegan, and Amy (Steve). Great-grandmother to Evan, Abbilee, Tucker, Cara, Gracie, Jayde, Amber, Matilda and Lana.
Isabelle was raised and lived on a family farm where she spent many happy days. She met and married Mike with whom she built a house on the farm near Huttonville. Together they worked alongside her parents and brother, Doug and June.
Isabelle loved her dear friends, in friendship and fellowship. She will be missed and lovingly remembered for always being thoughtful and ready to help those in need.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 11a.m.- 12 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12 p.m. following the funeral service all are invited to the reception for a time of fellowship. Donations can be made on behalf of Isabelle to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
