Jeremy (Jer) John Hodnett passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2024, in his 42nd year. He is survived by his two wonderful children Reese and Hayden, his loving parents Steve and Shelly, his two younger siblings Jordan and Megan and his nephews, Chase, August & Dallas.
Jer was an athlete by nature and a sports enthusiast and was happiest when enjoying the games of baseball, basketball and golf. Jeremy grew up playing baseball, beginning in his early years when he played on the Florida Little League team and then continued to play well into his adulthood where he created lifelong friendships and memories. You could often find Jer singing along to his favourite songs as his love for music was such an important part of who he was.
Jer was kind, smart and witty and the kind of guy who would do anything for anyone. Although at times he was quiet, he could fill any room with his charm and charismatic personality.
Jer will be truly missed by his family and friends and will forever be in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday May 13th, from 9:00am -11am. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.
