The annual Holiday Show and Sale opens on December 5 in the Upper Sisnett Lobby of the Cultural Centre. Don’t miss this opportunity to find the perfect gift for the holiday season and support local artists and artisans.
“The annual Holiday Show and Sale is a fantastic opportunity to discover and support local talent,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor.
While attending the show, visitors are also invited to view the new exhibit at the Helson Gallery entitled the Transatlantic Paper Trail before it travels to Europe. Halton Hills is the only Canadian location for this international exhibition which brings together the creations of Canadian, Swiss, and German artists. The five Canadian artists, known as Pentavision, include Neville Clarke, Linda Kemp, Peter Marsh, Lin Souliere, and Rayne Tunley. The five European artists include Swiss artists Konrad Gruber, Reinhard Fluri, and Rudolf Stüssi, and German artists Karoline Koeppel and Uta Jeran. Each artist has the freedom to express their unique style as there is no specific theme for this exhibition. This diverse exhibition features abstract, realism, landscape, to figurative styles.
The exhibit runs from November 29, 2023 until February 25, 2024 in the Helson Gallery and Lower Sisnett Lobby of the Cultural Centre. All are welcome to attend the opening reception in the Helson Gallery on Sunday December 3 from 1-3 p.m. to meet the participating Canadian artists and enjoy live music.

The Helson Gallery is located at 9 Church St., Halton Hills and is open Wednesday to Saturday 9:30 a.m.– 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.
