Acton Legion receives Ontario Trillium Foundation grant

$18,500 grant goes toward window, parking lot improvements, new chairs

The Acton branch of the Royal Canadian Legion received a grant of $18,500 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. 

The grant was used for repaving portions of the Legion parking lot, putting new panes on windows and buying chairs for the Legion’s main hall.

President Peggy Graham recently thanked Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott for the funds during the Legion’s Remembrance Day service.
