The Bennett Centre is holding a food drive for the Georgetown Bread Basket. Donations can be dropped off at the Bennett Centre or Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the centre court of the Georgetown Market Place.

Bennett Village is looking to fill plates and hearts over the holidays.

Following a successful food drive last year, Bennett Village is once again collecting food for the Georgetown Bread Basket over the coming weeks.

Between now and Dec. 18, non-perishable items can be dropped off at the donation box at the Bennett Centre.

Also, each Tuesday until Dec. 17, donations can be dropped off at the Georgetown Market Place. Bennett Village staff and volunteers will be at the centre court near the lotto booth from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bennett Village has set a goal of collecting 300 pounds of food.
