Dufferin's other local quarry also targeted by copper wire thieves

Locks cut on multiple buildings at the Dublin Line property

Copper wire and tools were stolen from Dufferin Aggregates' quarry on Dublin Line earlier this week.

Halton Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at Dufferin Aggregates' quarry along the Halton Hills/Milton border.

Police said that sometime Sunday night/Monday morning (June 23/24), multiple buildings were broken into at the Dublin Line quarry after the locks were cut. Copper wiring and brass as well as some tools were stolen.

No suspect descriptions are currently available and no arrests have been made yet. The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier this month, Dufferin Aggregates' Acton quarry was also targeted by copper wire thieves.
