Silver Creek Conservation Area is, to put it lightly, massive. The sprawling 1,086 acres of land boasts a trove of environmental riches. Dense old growth forests, babbling brooks and a lifetime’s worth of wildlife create a rare biodiversity found in few other places.
Waterfalls are one of the more popular destinations for hikers, leading them to walk long distances to see them. HaltonHillsToday took up the challenge and walked a section of the conservation area.
