A 61-year-old Georgetown man has been charged with impaired driving and driving without a licence.

A Georgetown man is facing several charges, included impaired driving and driving without a licence, following a Saturday morning collision.

At  8:25 a.m. on June 15, Halton Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Hwy. 7 and 22 Sideroad. No injuries were reported.

As a result of its investigation, Halton Police charged a 61-year-old Georgetown resident with operation while impaired, blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more within two hours, careless driving, drive motor vehicle - no licence and novice driver - blood alcohol concentration above 0 mg.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
