Halton Hills invites residents to take part in Cultural Services and Halton Hills Public Library programs in June to celebrate Indigenous History Month.

“I encourage the community to participate in Indigenous programming offered throughout June and take an active role in learning about the experiences of Indigenous peoples in our country,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “Engaging with diverse cultural programming is an important step toward creating a more diverse and inclusive community in Halton Hills.”

Bonnette will recognize Indigenous History Month at the upcoming council meeting on June 13.
