Family Storytime
Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown and Acton branches: Explore new themes each week through stories, rhymes, and songs. This drop-in program is designed for children up to age six and their caregivers.
Ignite the Night
Feb. 1 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Terra Cotta Conservation Area: Experience the beauty of the forest after dark along a two-kilometre illuminated trail. Ski, snowshoe and kicksled rentals are available on site, as conditions permit, along with ice skating opportunities. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own equipment. Hot drinks and snacks are available at the park store.

Sunday Drop-in - Groundhog Day
Feb. 2 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown and Acton branches: How many weeks of winter are left? Find out as the library team celebrates Groundhog Day with drop-in literacy crafts, games and activities.
Fire Pit Pop-up
Feb. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bovis Park, Acton: Join the Town's Hey Neighbour team for a hot chocolate treat then sit back and enjoy the warmth of a fireside seat in the park, located at 31 Wallace Street, Acton.

Local Love Market
Feb. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Georgetown Market Place: There will be more than 50 vendors selling handmade gifts and crafts, chocolate, baked goods and treats, floral arrangements, candles, jewelry and art.
In addition to the vendors, there will be live entertainment, a Valentine card craft station, treats for kids and a sweetheart photo contest.
The market will also be raising funds for Halton Women’s Place.
