Line Dancing
Jan. 24 starting at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Acton branch: Learn how to line dance with the Urban Cowboy at the local Legion from 7 to 9 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.), followed by open line dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets cost $15 (cash only) and are available at the door.

Family Storytime
Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown and Acton branches: Explore new themes each week through stories, rhymes, and songs. This drop-in program is designed for children up to age six and their caregivers.
Ignite the Night
Jan. 25 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Terra Cotta Conservation Area: Experience the beauty of the forest after dark along a two-kilometre illuminated trail. Ski, snowshoe and kicksled rentals are available on site, as conditions permit, along with ice skating opportunities. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own equipment. Hot drinks and snacks are available at the park store.

Robbie Burns Lunch
Jan. 26 at 12:30 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, Georgetown: Enjoy a lunch with haggis for $25. Tickets available at the door or by emailing [email protected].
Kids’ Historical Walking Tour and Bell Ringing
Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. starting at St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church, Glen Williams: Step back in time with this event celebrating Glen Williams’ 200th birthday. The adventure begins with 50 rings of the church’s 121-year-old bell. The tour takes young explorers through the heart of the Glen, featuring a scavenger hunt along the way. The journey concludes at Kind Vibe Kids with hot refreshments and tasty treats.
Valentine’s for Vets
Jan. 26 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown and Acton branches: Share messages of love and gratitude for Canadian veterans by making a special card and putting it in the library’s Valentine’s for Vets mailbox.
Fire Pit Pop-up
Jan. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Maple Creek Parkette, Georgetown: Join the Town's Hey Neighbour team for a hot chocolate treat then sit back and enjoy the warmth of a fireside seat in the park, located at 39 Gooderham Drive, Georgetown.

Book and Puzzle Sale
Jan. 24 to 26 at Georgetown Market Place: It’s time to support the Upper Credit Humane Society again while restocking your book and puzzle collection. Funds raised at the sale will support the shelter’s relocation fund. The event will run at the mall across from Sportchek on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. (books: $5, puzzles: $10), Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (books: $2, puzzles: $5) and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (fill a UCHS bag for $10).
