Group to commemorate 50th anniversary on June 14

The golden anniversary of the 676 Lorne Scots Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps is quickly approaching.

The local cadet unit has been working hard to practise its drill routine to put on a show at a celebration on June 14.

Under the watchful eye of Master Warrant Officers Nathan Peredery and Matthew Fallis, the drill team has been pushed towards excellence at Georgetown's Col. J. R. Barber Armoury.

The 50th anniversary celebration will take place at the Armoury at 7 p.m on June 14. It's open to the public, though seating is limited.
