A local meat packing company is putting itself on the map with what it says is the world’s biggest smoked sausage.
Freshouse Foods on Todd Road unveiled its culinary creation that’s over 17 feet long and about the diameter of a basketball with the help of the Toronto Argonauts cheerleaders and local emergency services.
Former Argonaut Adriano Belli is part of the family that operates Freshouse Foods, which moved to Georgetown from the meat packing district in Toronto.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hospital for Sick Children.
