Local parents and children will be lovin’ this news.
The PlayPlace at McDonald’s in Georgetown is coming back, with installation of the new structures expected to be complete in a couple weeks.
“It’s the latest design in play structures. It features slides and a number of children’s activities on three levels,” said Tim O’Connor, who owns and operates both local McDonald’s with wife Casey.
“It also has an area for toddlers with their own small slide that might be too young to climb.”
He noted the new design will allow adults and staff to reach all areas of the structure, if needed.
This is the third iteration of play areas the Georgetown McDonald’s has had in almost half a century of operating locally.
“We are excited about being the only McDonald’s in north Halton to have a PlayPlace. It continues the tradition of serving our families with a gathering place since we opened in 1974,” O’Connor told HaltonHillsToday.
“Many of our guests are going to be able to enjoy our new PlayPlace with their grandchildren and reminisce about their experiences with our first PlayPlace.”
