A Rockwood man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 7.
Halton Police responded to a call shortly after 10 a.m. Friday. A southbound Range Rover SUV crossed the highway just south of 22 Sideroad and rolled. It crashed through a chain-link fence and landed on its roof in the front yard of a home.
Halton Police have confirmed that the lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital and succumbed to their injuries.
The OPP has since indicated the victim was a 78-year-old Rockwood man.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
The OPP has taken over the investigation.
Highway 7 was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since reopened.
