Cancer Assistance Halton Hills' fourth annual online auction is now live.
Bids are being accepted on more than 100 items ranging in value from $25 to $1,000.
“The community has been exceptionally generous,” said CAHH executive director Julie Liddle.
The auction items range from Toronto Raptors tickets, a Michael Kors handbag, a furnace humidifier unit, restaurant gift certificates, an area rug and household appliances.
All money raised from the auction will support CAHH programs, including free transportation and practical home care services for residents of Halton Hills dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
CAHH does not receive any government grants and is fully funded by donations.
CAHH is hoping to raise $10,000 through the auction and in just the first five hours, the items had received $4,200 in bids.
“It’s great when the community pulls together for something like this,” Liddle said.
Bids can be placed until 3 p.m. Sunday (Mar. 2).
