The Town of Halton Hills wants local residents to help it shape the future of Stewarttown.
The municipality is hosting a public meeting June 17 to discuss the draft Stewarttown Secondary Plan, which will guide land use and future development in and around the community.
Prior to the meeting, there will be a drop-in public open house from 4 to 6 p.m. in the lower atrium of Town Hall. There will be poster boards set up with secondary plan information. Town staff will also be available during this time to answer questions.
The meeting will then begin at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, where the secondary plan project team will make a presentation. Local residents will be given the opportunity to make oral or written submissions with their thoughts.
All feedback will be recorded and considered in the creation of the final version of the secondary plan.
