Local firefighters remain on the scene of an overnight blaze that destroyed a large home in rural Halton Hills.
The Caledon and Halton Hills fire departments responded to the call on Tenth Line, south of 32 Sideroad in the Terra Cotta area early this morning (Oct. 27).
Caledon was first on the scene and knocked the majority of the fire down, with several tanker fire trucks used to deliver water to the rural property.
Initial reports indicate nobody was home at the time.
