It’s almost time for the Community Foundation of Halton North’s (CFHN) Webathon Giving Challenge.

The event in support of a variety of local charities will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday morning (Sept. 28) on Zoom Webinar, with CFHN representatives also present at the Milton Farmers’ Market and presenting live from its offices.

Gifts raised through the Giving Challenge will be matched by CFHN to a maximum of $50,000 (up to $10,000 for any one charity).

“The Board of CFHN is pleased to lead Webathon Giving Challenge 2024 to benefit the many charities serving Halton Hills and Milton,” said Brad Clements, chair of the CFHN board.

The virtual portion of the Webathon Giving Challenge will feature three hours of programming, including interviews and videos showcasing the work of CFHN, local charities and sponsors.

There will also be charity spotlights, with each participating charity being given time to promote their cause through shared stories.

Online attendees can log in and out of the virtual platform to watch the presentations.
