WHL Roundup: Parr's two-point performance leads Blades past Tigers 3-1

SASKATOON, Sask. — Tyler Parr scored a goal and an assist as the Saskatoon Blades downed Medicine Hat Tigers 5-3 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League play.

Misha Volotovskii, David Lewandowski, Brandon Lisowsky and Rowan Calvert rounded out the attack as Saskatoon (14-5-2) won its third straight.

Evan Gardner made 31 saves for the win in net.

Bryce Pickford, Liam Ruck and Gavin McKenna supplied the offence for Medicine Hat (12-10-0).

Goaltender Harrison Meneghin stopped 24-of-28 shots for the Tigers.

AMERICANS 3 BRONCOS 1

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Gavin Garland scored a goal and an assist as Tri-City topped the Broncos.

Savin Virk and Jackson Smith had the other goals for the Americans (14-5-1).

Luke Mistelbacher had the lone goal for Swift Current (13-7-0).
