Lillie Cock, beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Woodhall Park Long Term Care in Brampton, at the remarkable age of 100. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rex Cock, in 2001.

Lillie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Pat (the late Gary) Anderson, and her son, Barry (Debbie) Cock. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica (Morgan) Fullerton, Summer (David) Ruppel, William Jeffrey Cock, and Samantha (Antoine) Le Dore, and a doting great-grandmother to Ellie, Milo, and Scarlett. She was predeceased by her younger sister, Mary (the late Jack) Bullen.

Born in Cornwall, England, Lillie had a vibrant life that included over 4 years in South Africa where her two children were born, then a brief stint back in Cornwall before eventually settling in North America. She shared many adventures and collected lifelong friends along the way.

She had a passion for reading, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. Summers at the cottage were especially dear to her, as were the moments spent teaching her loved ones to make her treasured Cornish pasties.

Her family remembers her for the love and support she gave so freely, the traditions and history she passed down and the life values she taught them.

Lillie’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In her memory, the family appreciates memorial donations to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.
