Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever 55.
Since his diagnosis in August 2020, Kevin openly and honestly shared his journey living with ALS and the realities of this relentless, incurable disease.
Above all, Kevin’s pride and joy is his family - his devoted wife Elena and beautiful daughters Erica and Allison. He is survived by his parents Brendan and Philomena, sisters Bernadette (Gavin), Jennifer (Jacques) and Anne (Doug); his in-laws Elio and Luciana Comello, Michelle (Scott) and Michael (Michelle); and all his nieces and nephews.
The family is especially grateful for all the help and support from his ‘Mac brothers’, TELUS colleagues, long time friends and core nurses and PSWs.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Family and friends are also welcome to attend a memorial service to honour Kevin on Monday, November 18, 2024 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.
A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kevin Daly Bursary at www.kevindalybursary.com. Established in 2023, the fund aims to provide post-secondary education support to young people navigating the impact of ALS on a loved one.
