It is with tremendous sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Harry Ellis in his 82nd year on January 15th, 2025 with loving family by his side from complications related to dementia at Georgetown Hospital.

Harry was the loving husband to his devoted wife Eileen for 58 wonderful years. Together, they built a life rooted in love and setting an example of commitment and strength for their family and friends.

Harry will be lovingly missed by his sons, Tyler (Sherilu) and Todd (Tara). Harry will be dearly missed and cherished by his grandchildren Cameron, Trevor, Jason, Jaden and great grandson Ellis. Harry will also be deeply missed by his sisters Jean, Brenda (deceased) and Rosie.

Harry was a loving, gentle, humble, and kind-hearted man who touched the lives of many with his quiet strength and willingness to help anyone in need. His faith and his church community were an important part to his life. He found joy in playing golf, cards, his cherished firebird, gardening, carpentry but most of all, Harry loved making memories with his family.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown on Saturday, February 1st @ 11:30am. Luncheon to follow immediately after mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Upper Credit Humane Society.

Harry’s love and commitment gave his family a strong foundation and a deep sense of security, His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
