Helen Jean Gibson, age 75, passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2025, with family by her side. Beloved wife of Robert for 55 years. Loving Mother of Robert Jr. (Thom Jones). Cherished grandma of Matthew (Kay) Tinney, Brandon Gibson-Jones, James Gibson-Jones (Abby), Brock Gibson-Jones, and Jaysen Gibson-Jones. Great-grandma to Quinn and Cienna Tinney.
Dear sister of George (Gail) Harris, Lynda Bud (Martin), Kenneth Harris (Lorrie), Melissa Kurpieweit, and the late Donald Harris (1995). Sister-in-law to Florence Papillon (the late Ron), David (Dianne), and Jack (Fran), predeceased by brother and sister in laws Irvin (the late Mary Hill), Donald, Leonard, Illia Brown, Ruby Szedetzki, Evelyn Hamilton, and Howard (Jessie). Helen will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation will take place, and a private family inurnment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
A celebration of life will be held, information to be announced.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
