Melanie Ann-Marie Graham (née MacDonald), aged 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Georgetown, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family on December 12, 2024.

Melanie was born in Toronto and raised in Rexdale. She later settled in Glen Williams, where she built a life full of love, laughter, and kindness. Melanie was a devoted wife, an incredible mother, and a cherished grandma. Known for her magnetic personality, warm spirit, and generous heart, she brought joy to everyone she met.

Melanie found her greatest happiness in the simple moments spent with her family, especially her daughters and granddaughters, who adored their “Granny” beyond measure. Whether relaxing by the pool, cuddled up in bed with a good show, or enjoying a glass of red wine, Melanie embraced life’s little pleasures. She loved listening to music, sharing laughter with her girls, and traveling back to Prince Edward Island—a place close to her heart and her family’s roots. An animal lover at heart, Melanie also adored her grand-dogs, Oakley and Lucy, who brought her so much joy.

Melanie is now reunited with her beloved parents, Mary and Bob MacDonald, and her dear brother, John MacDonald, who have welcomed her with open arms.

She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend, Don; her daughters, Jordyn (Brent) and Brittany (Neilan); and her treasured granddaughters, Ella and Paityn. The youngest of six siblings, Melanie will be deeply missed by her sisters, Roberta (Paul) and Gerarda; her brothers, Steven (Denise) and Michael. Melanie is also survived by her sister-in-law, Roxine (Don); her brothers-in-law, Doug (Karin) and Wayne; and her mother-in-law, Joan Graham, whom Melanie loved dearly. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church (537 Main Street, Glen Williams, ON). Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate Melanie’s life at a reception at Shoeless Joe’s in Georgetown (367 Guelph Street) from 2:30–4:30 PM.

We invite you to honour Melanie by adding a touch of pink to your attire. Whether it’s a scarf, a tie, or another pop of pink, this small gesture celebrates her love for her favourite colour and the vibrant spirit she shared with all of us. Traditional black is still welcome as well.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Melanie’s honour can be made to St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church via this link:
