Died Peacefully, on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at the Milton District Hospital. Fran was in her 90th year, wife of the late Dave Leslie (1994). Loving mother of Michael (Cora), Richard (Bonnie) and Liz (the late Brian). She was known lovingly as Nana Fran by her grandchildren Steven, Kevin, Jessie (Kyle), Amber and Kaelan. Dear sister of Kathleen (Keith King). Predeceased by her older sister Marjorie (Bill Pomeroy). Fran will be fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews as well as all her friends at Georgetown St. Andrew’s Apartments. Fran loved to travel, was an avid reader & puzzler and enjoyed her daily walks on the Hungry Hollow Trails. Her laugh will always be with us.
A Celebration of her life will be held in the Trafalgar Room at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Sunday July 16, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. A luncheon will be available and time for anyone to share their favorite memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
