Passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital with his children by his side after a long battle with Cancer. Beloved husband to Helena for 58 years. Father of Sandra Comitale (Maurizio) and Edward (Tammy). Grandfather to Michaela and Tommaso, Julia and Alyssa. Dear brother of the late Severino (Maria) and Joao (Fernanda) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Manuel was one of the founding members of the Portuguese Seventh Day Adventist Church in Toronto and cherished the lasting friendship of his church family for over 50 years.
Manuel enjoyed travelling and especially loved to share the history and culture of his homeland Portugal with many family and friends who accompanied him there.
His presence will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown between 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held Monday November 4, 2024 at Portuguese Adventist Church, 280 Carlingview Drive, Etobicoke at 11:00 a.m.
Private interment to follow.
