Debit card used after being stolen with phone at Georgetown GO station

Halton Regional Police ae investigating after a cell phone and attached debit card were stolen from the GO station parking lot on Queen Street in Georgetown. 

Police say around 11:30 a.m. Friday, the victim either had the phone stolen from their purse or accidentally left it on a bench at the station. 

A debit card attached to the back of the phone case was used after it went missing, according to police.

There are no suspect descriptions available and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
