Georgetown shopper has wallet stolen, credit cards accessed

Incident occurred at a local grocery store earlier this week

Halton Regional Police are investigating after a local shopper had their wallet stolen and credit cards used. 

The theft is believed to have occurred at Food Basics on Guelph Street in Georgetown on Monday between 1-1:30 p.m.

Police say the victim’s wallet was taken while they were shopping and their credit cards were later accessed.

No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions are available.
