A 23-year-old has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped early Thursday in rural Halton Hills.
Halton Police, responding to a complaint, pulled a vehicle over in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and 17 Sideroad around 1:20 a.m. Jan. 2.
As a result of its investigation, a Halton Hills man was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.
Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
