Monday afternoon traffic stop in Georgetown nets impaired charges

A Halton Hills man has been charged with impaired driving following a Monday afternoon traffic stop in Georgetown.

Halton Police say officers pulled a vehicle over in the area of Argyll Road and Mountainview Road South around 3:30 p.m. Nov. 11.

As a result of their investigation, a 49-year-old Halton Hills man was charged with impaired operation and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
