HaltonHillsToday, in partnership with the Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS), highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Silver was found near the Silver Creek Conservation Area on Oct. 20. Imagine being all alone, at 11 weeks of age - to say he was scared is an understatement.
Sliver was rescued and brought to UCHS, where he went into foster care. It has taken weeks to see his true personality. He is a lap cat to the core and will purr for hours – and he is just now learning that toys are fun too.
Silver may be disguised as a typical tabby cat, but given time in a patient home he will show himself to be the absolute dream kitten.
Silver is neutered, up to date on vaccines, a perfect gentleman in the litter box department and can get along with other cats if introduced slowly.
Because he is a bit on the nervous side, homes with small children and dogs may not be ideal for him. Silver needs a saviour! Is it you? Come visit him at the shelter to find out.
