It's almost time for downtown Georgetown to come alive with the sights and sounds of the Rock'n Roll'n Classics Car Show.
The free event is set for Friday, Aug. 25 from 5 to 10 p.m. In addition to the car show, there will be live music by The Tone Dogs, known for their renditions of classic rock 'n' roll hits.
Attendees can savour the flavours of Georgetown with a diverse selection of cuisine from local restaurants and food trucks.
Awards will be handed out to the most outstanding classic cars in various categories.
"We are thrilled to bring back the Rock'n Roll'n Classics Car Show to Georgetown for its 22nd year," said Josh Pereira, special events coordinator of the Downtown Georgetown BIA. "This event has become a beloved tradition, showcasing the rich automotive heritage of our community while providing a fun-filled day for visitors and residents alike."
This event, which serves as an annual fundraiser for the Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association, is presented by the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area and Georgetown Chevrolet Buick GMC.
“We are so thankful to have the opportunity to share our beautiful downtown with those attending this event” said Nikki Jackson, BIA manager. “This is an excellent opportunity to dine and shop at our businesses and admire the cars on display in such a welcoming community atmosphere.”
The event is also supported by the Town of Halton Hills, car show veterans and entertainment sponsor, AMICO.
