It's almost time to celebrate Canada's birthday, Halton Hills style.
The festivities get underway tomorrow at 8 a.m. in Glen Williams.
Here's what's in store during Canada Day in the Glen:
Following this, local residents can head to Acton for some more patriotic fun.
The Acton Legion is hosting a barbecue from 4 to 9 p.m, with free hot dogs for the kids, and a performance by the Acton Citizens' Band from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Over at Prospect Park, festivities will get underway at 6:30 p.m. with on-site vendors, including Ice Cream 4 U, Gord’s Hot Dogs, Bethel’s Coffee Trailer, 70 Below Treats and Cody's Cows.
The Acton Firefighters' Association’s popular fireworks display will then light up the sky at dusk.
This year parking at Prospect Park will be $20 per vehicle (cash only), with all funds collected going toward show expenses.
