A 55-year-old Milton man has sadly died of his injuries following a multi-vehicle collision Friday evening (Sept. 20).
The crash involved eight different vehicles around the Derry Road and Ontario Street South intersection in Milton at approximately 5 p.m.
Halton Police report that a GMC Sierra – driven by a 35-year-old Milton man – collided with several vehicles both before and after crossing the centre median while travelling westbound on Derry.
One of those vehicles struck was a Toyota Corolla, whose driver was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the incident and asks any witnesses or individuals with dashboard camera footage who’ve yet to speak with police to contact them at 905-825-4747, ext. 5065.
