A man in his 80s has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a tractor in Georgetown this morning.
Local emergency services were called to Maple Avenue across from Cedarvale Park at approximately 10 a.m. today (Aug. 22).
Police report that the man had been struck by a farm tractor. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Halton Police’s collision reconstruction unit is investigating. Maple Avenue remained closed for several hours between Main Street South and Delrex Boulevard but has since reopened.
Halton Police said no charges will be laid.
