Female porch pirate sought after packages swiped in Georgetown

Incidents occurred at edge of town near Norval

Halton Police are looking for a woman they say stole packages from porches in Georgetown this week.

On Tuesday (Sept. 3) at approximately 2:15 p.m., police say a female suspect took a package off a porch on Upper Canada Court in Georgetown. 

Approximately five minutes later, the same woman was seen taking a package from another home on the street, according to police.

The suspect is described as female, white, with a thin build, auburn hair and wearing an oversized white shirt and pink shorts.
