SATURDAY

St. Andrew's United Church Christmas Craft Show

Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 89 Mountainview Rd. S., Georgetown: Do some Christmas shopping, visit with Santa and check out the silent auction and raffle. A café will be available for lunch including homemade soups, bunwiches, hot dogs and beverages.

Adult admission is $2, which will be donated to the Townsend Smith Foundation.

St. George's Anglican Church Christmas Bazaar

Nov. 9 starting at 10 a.m. at 60 Guelph St., Georgetown: Check some items off your Christmas shopping list with gifts and goodies from unique vendors during St. George’s bazaar.

Family Storytime

Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown and Acton branches: Explore new themes each week through stories, rhymes, and songs. This drop-in program is designed for children up to age six and their caregivers.

Acton Remembrance Day Parade and Service

Nov. 9 starting at 10:15 a.m. in Acton: The parade will start at The Hide House and proceed down Mill Street to the Acton Cenotaph in front of Trinity United Church.

Following the service there will be a dinner at the Acton Legion, 15 Wright Ave. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the bar at the Legion.

SUNDAY

Glen Williams Remembrance Day Parade and Service

Nov. 10 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Glen Williams: The parade will start at Glen Williams Public School and follow Main Street to the cenotaph, at the corner of Confederation and Main Street. The service will then begin at 11 a.m.

Georgetown Remembrance Day Parade and Service

Nov. 10 starting at 1:30 p.m. in downtown Georgetown: The parade will start at the Georgetown Legion, 127 Mill St., and will follow Mill Street to Charles Street, and then proceed to Remembrance Park, where the service will get underway at 2 p.m.
