Terra Cotta Conservation Area is ready to light up your night.
Ignite the Night offers a two-kilometre illuminated forest trail through the conservation area. You can warm up with a hot drink and get some snacks from the park store.
The park is open from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each Saturday until March 1, with the last admission at 8 p.m. to give visitors an hour to enjoy the event.
In addition to hiking the trail, ski, snowshoe and kick sled rentals are available if conditions allow. Headlamps or flashlights are recommended. There are also ice rinks.
Registration is not required, and regular park admission fees apply. The event is free for Credit Valley Parks pass holders.
Visitors should check the park website for updates as Ignite the Night may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Terra Cotta Conservation is located at 14452 Winston Churchill Blvd.
