A pedestrian is in stable condition in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Georgetown Thursday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., Halton Police and other emergency services were called to the intersection of Eaton Street and Curry Crescent in Georgetown, near the Eaton Street Parkette.
According to police, a male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the Georgetown Hospital by Halton paramedics and later airlifted to a trauma centre.
Halton Police said the pedestrian was reported to be in stable condition.
The driver remained on scene and police say they are co-operating with the investigation.
