Tip leads to police charging Halton Hills woman with impaired

Halton Police have charged a Halton Hills woman with impaired driving after receiving a tip from the public. 

Responding to a call about a possible impaired driver, police went to the plaza parking lot at 134 Guelph St. in Georgetown around 3:50 p.m. Thursday (June 27).

The vehicle was located and as a result of its investigation, Halton Police charged a 39-year-old Halton Hills woman with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more within two hours. 

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
