The playground at Dominion Gardens Park has received a face lift.

The Town recently installed new equipment at the park at Maple Avenue and Guelph Street, including rope climbers, a large slide and smiley truck.

The number of swings has increased from four to six, including an accessible swing.

A semi-solid step ramp also makes the playground more accessible for younger children.

The new features replace some of the equipment at Dominion Gardens Park that was becoming aged and worn.

The Town conducted public consultation on the playground through its Let’s Talk Halton Hills platform and received over 125 survey responses about equipment residents wanted to see at the local park.
