Georgetown’s Daniela Ernst has been named to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association softball all-star team.

Ernst, a third-year centre fielder for the Conestoga Condors, was named to the OCAA second team. She finished second in the OCAA with five home runs and was also in the top 10 in the league in slugging percentage (.641), RBI (20) and stolen bases (10).

The former Halton Hills Hawk batted .359 with a career best 23 hits.

Conestoga finished fourth in the nine-team league with a 13-11 record. The Condors will play in the OCAA championship tournament beginning Thursday in Oshawa.
