Robert passed away on August 20th at Guelph General Hospital surrounded by his wife, sons and brother.
Leaving behind his wife and partner of 50 yrs, Carol, sons Robert Jr (Sabrina), Jason (Lisamarie). The highlight of his life were his five precious granddaughters Mya, Ava, Madison, Blake and Zoey. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Isabelle Bonus, brothers Michael and Philip, and sister Patsy. Left to mourn brothers Danny (Judy), Joan, Shirley, Larry (Joan), Bonnie (Rick Irving) and Brian, son-in-law of Delphine Thompson, brother-in-law of Jerry, David (Sherri), Cathy (Denny), Paul (Lori), Peter (Janice), and large number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Robert ran and owned a construction company out of Rockwood for 32 yrs. He had a very infectious smile and was kind to all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Rockmosa Community Centre (110 Rockmosa Dr. Rockwood) on Sunday September 29 from 1-4 PM.
Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Robert can be made to Guelph General Hospital.
