The family are saddened to announce that Marguerite Elizabeth Hulme (nee Seifried) at age 88, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2024.
She was the matriarch of the family and widowed from her husband Ronald Vincent Hulme after 67 years of marriage. Marguerite will be missed by her six children, Heather (David), Hal (Michele), Herb (Lynne), Howie (Melody), Holly (Larry) and Hope (Curtis). She was a devoted grandmother to Kerri, Brent (Claire), Kyle (Rachel), Nick (Brittany), Carly (Lawrence), Lauren, Kourtney (Ryan), Tyler (Rachael) and Codey. She was a devoted great grandmother to Walker, Caden, Jordan, Maya, Emerson and Noah. Marguerite had seven brothers and one sister, survived by Bill, Eileen and Wilbert who will sorely miss her along with their families and her predeceased siblings.
Marguerite was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 66 years. She volunteered at the seniors home doing Bingo and also volunteered for seniors’ local TV news station as an anchor.
Wasaga Beach was her favourite place and loved going on the senior bus trips through the years. She had a love for life. Her gift was her family and treasured them immensely. Marguerite was loved by all her family, extended families and circle of friends.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Holy Cross Parish, 14400 Argyll Rd, Georgetown at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at the church.
