3 JUNE, 1956 – 1 JULY, 2024

Allison Roslyn McCluskey, beloved wife of James, passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on July 1, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Born in Trinidad, Allison spent her early years surrounded by family, known for her remarkable intelligence and dedication to her studies. A gifted honor student, she had a passion for playing the piano and cherished moments spent at the beach with her loved ones. Her family later moved to England where Allison’s father studied before immigrating to Canada with her family in 1969.

Allison's career journey was as diverse as it was fulfilling. Initially in the healthcare field, she discovered her knack for psychology and later found joy in training pharmacists in computer systems, which led to training at many other computer companies. Her thirst for knowledge led her to become a paralegal, where she dedicated ten years before achieving her CIP certification and contributing her expertise to the legal services department of Halton Region.

Described as quick-witted and forthright, Allison was known for her honesty and clarity in all matters. She found immense joy in her hobbies, especially gardening, scrapbooking, and observing nature and birds. Yet, above all else, Allison treasured her family. Her marriage to James on May 28, 1994, marked the beginning of 30 years together.

Allison will be deeply missed by her loving husband James, siblings Wendy (Mike McLellan), Kathleen (Scott Yetman), Stephen, Lisa (John Linders), and Jacqueline Tancoo (Chris Blowes), as well as her adoring nieces and nephews Krista (Derek), Alyssa (Jaryd), Zach (Daelin), Travis (Alexis), Luke (Jordyn), Jake, Nick, Ethan, Natalie, Jeremy, Leah, and Jesse. She was predeceased by her parents Solomon and Marian, nephew Lee Michael, and Auntie Sheila. She will be forever remembered by many extended family and friends.

Allison McCluskey's life was a testament to dedication, passion, and unwavering love for those around her. Her kindness and wisdom touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honouring her memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived but cut short and a spirit that will continue to inspire us all.
