Cartons of cigarettes stolen from Acton gas station

Halton Regional Police are investigating after cartons of cigarettes were stolen from an Acton gas station early Sunday morning. 

Police say around 3:40 a.m. on Mar. 9, a person smashed the glass door of the Esso gas station at 12 Guelph St. N.

After taking cartons of cigarettes, the suspect - described as male with an average build - left in a light-coloured sedan.

The value of the stolen items and damage is estimated to be less than $5,000.
