Update: OPP report Tuesday morning that the injured person was an 80-year-old man from Rockwood and that the injuries were deemed to be non-life threatening. The road has since reopened.

A person has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash involving a transport truck near Rockwood this morning.
Emergency services responded to the call around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Hwy. 7 and Eramosa-Milton Townline.
Initial reports from the scene indicate a transport truck was found in the ditch, and a vehicle on its roof.
Firefighters extricated a person from the vehicle and placed them in the care of EMS, with ORNGE also responding to airlift them to hospital.
Hwy. 7 has been closed from Eramosa-Milton Townline to Fifth Line Nassagaweya.
